Credigro Privacy Request Page

Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to request:

· Access to the personal information we hold about you

· Correction of your information if it is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading

· Deletion of your personal information where lawful and practicable

· Information about how we handle your personal data

These rights are subject to limited legal exceptions, such as where providing access would:

· Pose a risk to the safety of another person

· Unreasonably impact another individual’s privacy

· Relate to legal proceedings or enforcement matters

How to Make a Privacy Request

You may make a request by:

1. Completing our Privacy Request Form

2. Submitting a written request to privacy@credigro.com

When making your request, please include:

· Your full name and contact details

· Sufficient detail to help us identify the information you are seeking

· If acting on behalf of someone else, proof of your authorisation to represent them

Verification of Your Identity

Before processing a request, we must verify your identity (or the authority of your representative). This protects the privacy of all individuals whose data we hold.

Response Timeframe

We aim to respond within 30 days of receiving your request. Our response will either:

· Grant access or correction as requested

· Provide the information in the requested format (where practicable)

· Offer an alternative form of access, if the requested method is not practical

· Explain in writing why access or correction is refused, and outline your options to escalate

How We Provide Access

Where possible, we will provide access in your preferred format (e.g., electronic copy, password-protected PDF, or hard copy). If this is not practical, we will offer a reasonable alternative.

Refusals and Exemptions

If we cannot meet your request, we will:

· Notify you in writing with our reasons

· Inform you of your right to lodge a complaint with us or escalate to the OAIC

Examples of valid reasons for refusal include:

· We are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., taxation or compliance documents)

· Granting access would breach another person’s privacy or safety

· The request is unlawful, frivolous, or vexatious

Charges

Requests are free of charge, unless they are excessive, repeated, or require significant resources. If charges apply, they will be reasonable and communicated to you in advance.
